I can find explanations about the square and compass, but I can’t seem to find the answer for the “G”. Thanks.

It is a substitute for the Hebrew letter Yod, the tenth letter of the Hebrew alphabet, and out of which all the other letters of that alphabet are constructed in correspondence with the truth that all created things are modifications of the one primal Spirit .”
