“Gambling is an addiction that can lead people into dept, broken relationships, and even suicide” would be a better toned down thesis but still thesis are supposed to be short and to the point so something like “Gambling is an addiction that can ruin peoples lives” is probably your best bet. The topics of your body paragraphs can be suicide, broken relationships, debts, ext.
