Addiction is seen as a disease and addicts unless and until they get help are seen as victims but who is really to blame for the person becoming addicted to sex in the first place?

Addiction may be seen as a disease, but it is like anyone else with a disease.
For example if someone with diabetes continues to eat carbs and sugars it is their fault for not following the recommended diet.
It is the addicts fault. They must take responsibility for their cure!

YOU are the one that’s addicted, and you got that way as a result of decisions and choices YOU have made over the course of your life. Regardless of the environment you lived in you SHOULD understand that when you choose a behavior you choose the consequences.

I am not a fan of blaming others for an addiction. The addict is responsible for their addiction as far as I’m concerned. (With perhaps a VERY few exceptions.)
