If you’re interested in Yugoslavia, Rwanda, Sudan, etc., I recommend Samantha Power’s “A Problem from Hell: America and the Age of Genocide.” She’s horrifically well-researched.

“Red Cocaine,” Joseph Douglass, Ph.D., documents Soviet development of drug cartels in South America as their primary effective strategy during the 1950s and 1960s. These were aimed at U.S. youth, inner cities, and military.

“Confessions of an Economic Hit Man” and “Secret History of the American Empire,” John Perkins. Focuses on U.S. corporate “culture of greed” as institutional force spanning Administrations and seriously influencing foreign policy. I believe “Secret History” to be the better book, although a major flaw is not noting the similar activities of bribery and destabilization which e.g. UK, USSR, and PRC also engaged in.

“The True History of the Bilderberg Group,” Daniel Estulin, http:/www.danielestulin.com (click on “English” button). Worthwhile record of a most influential group.

“Rule by Secrecy,” Jim Marrs. This is a bit more speculative, however, has some intriguing information.

“Hope of the Wicked,” Ted Flynn. The virtue of this book is in its primary sources, public quotes, which the author weaves into a tapestry of intent regarding globalization.
