Could Someone Tell Me Why My Prescription for Xanax Doesn’t Seem to Be Effective.?
Question by Lillibeth: Could someone tell me why my prescription for Xanax doesn’t seem to be effective.?
I was prescribed a low dose of Xanax a few days ago. 0.5mlg. Anyway, I was told it would help me deal with my anxiety and constant panic attacks until my other long lasting kicked in (Lexapro) However, in the two days I’ve been taking it…I can feel something ever so slight…but the feeling of panic and nervousness are still there. I even took two this morning to see if the effect would be any different and nothing as far as I could tell.

The most affordable (and effective) methods to help with anxiety is to learn to take slow, deep, breaths . . . to FILL your diaphragm with each breath:

Be sure to get enough quality sleep, don’t get overheated, and, learn how to use ‘EFT’ / “Emotional Freedom Technique”. #
You need to understand that conventional doctors are *conditioned* & *trained* to be biased toward chemical & surgical methods / against natural, healthy, effective treatments . . . as, the Medical Industry (especially the Pharmaceutical Industry) is BIG Business, & they ‘contribute’ huge amounts of money to the medical schools . . . which they warn they will withdraw . . . unless the schools teach students exactly what they ‘dictate’, no more—no less. Doctors even get financial kickbacks for prescribing certain (all?) *very expensive* & dangerous drugs . . .

In addition to what ^that^ info. says, certain herbs & oils strengthen & calm the nervous system, as do certain minerals & homeopathic remedies, but, they do not remove or modify stressful situations that trigger anxiety . . .

Heavy metals & chemicals are often anxiety triggers, and this includes some constituents in foods, especially caffeine & another ‘upper’ in cocoa/chocolate . . .
