Illegal Drug Trade; What Are the Street Prices of Commonly Traded Illegal Substances?
Question by : Illegal Drug Trade; What are the Street prices of commonly traded illegal substances?
I am writing an essay on the global, nationalized and local effects of the drug trade on their respective economies. In order to write an all-encompassing paper i need to know the average prices drugs are traded for on the streets. I already have a lot of specifics on international trade and large scale distribution so what i’m really in need of are the prices “users” pay. I need all the pricing info i can get on Marijuana, Methamphetamines, Herion (and other opium derivatives), Crack/Cocaine, psychotropic Mushrooms, LSD, Prescription narcotics like Oxycodone or hydrocodone and ecstacy. (Please include weights and measures of said substances)
How Come No One Finds It Funny When You Joke About Hard Drugs Like Meth or Heroin?
Question by Barack McClinton: How come no one finds it funny when you joke about hard drugs like meth or heroin?
Pot jokes are kind of corny and everyone agrees. And most people can appreaciate a cocaine joke as long as it has context.
But if you make a random joke about meth, people are angry about it. Why should be we feel sorry or feel sensititve about drug “addiction”?
And don’t tell me I don’t know. The police threw me in a “weed rehab” when I was a teenager.

Did Anyone See Last Night’s Episode of “Interventions” That Featured Rocky Lockridge?
Question by Unknown One: Did anyone see last night’s episode of “Interventions” that featured Rocky Lockridge?
Former IBF & WBA Super Featherweight Champion in the 80’s. Rocky’s recreational use of drugs (alcohol & cocaine) eventually progressed into a major crack addiction and homelessness. Looking at him all bent over and broken down was surreal because I could still see the image of him in his heyday; knocking out Roger Mayweather for the title.

Cocaine Rehabs: Cocaine Rehab-Making a Humanitarian Statement
by Ed Yourdon
Cocaine rehab has become a humanitarian statement according to Shared Responsibility. Shared Responsibility is a Colombia-led initiative for illicit-drug producing and consuming countries to work on shared solutions to the threat that cocaine production, trafficking and abuse poses to the world. By informing the public about the social and environmental effects of cocaine, it may give impetus to those who want to quit cocaine and to those who are thinking of trying it. While the majority of cocaine is shipped to the US, the European market is expanding. That is why Shared Responsibility has brought its message to Europe.
Cocaine Detoxification: Get a New Start With Cocaine Detox
The effects of cocaine addiction can be devastating on a person physically, mentally, and emotionally. If not addressed this serious problem can lead to losses of many kinds, including health, finances, personal relationships and ultimately the loss of life may be the end result. In order to break the cycle of destruction, the substance must be eliminated from the addicted person’s system by means of cocaine detox. Subsequent therapy normally follows this in most rehabilitation programs.
