Two Questions About a&E’s Intervention?
Question by Sharon Newman (YR) Must Die: Two questions about A&E’s Intervention?
First, do you think that Gail Vaz-Oxlade would make a good interventionist if someone would recommend her to the show? In case you don’t know who she is, she is the host of a syndicated show called “Til Debt Do Us Part” (which can be seen on the Slice Channel, and also my local Global station in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada before the Canadian episode of Young and the Restless.) She does a really good job of getting couples in financial and relationship crisis out of their troubles by making them perform tasks that she decides. If they complete all her tasks, they get up to $ 5000 to help pay off their debt. I think that if someone – probably a “success story” from her show – were to recommend her to the A&E show “Intervention,” she would be a great help for anyone who is coping with an addiction to gambling or shopping.
Second question, in all these addictions to alcohol and drugs, do you think there should be a “documentary” episode where the subject is addicted to sex? I don’t think I’ve seen an episode like it

I think that would be a REALLY good idea, people pretend like sex addiction doesn’t exist. But it does …. My friend is gorgeous, perfect Body, good heart everything …. and her husband was addicted. They went through a year of therapy, but finally got it under control . You should write the show, with that one.
