Vicodin Prescription for BIG Headaches Instead Some Strong Migraine Prescription?

Question by Melissa: Vicodin prescription for BIG headaches instead some strong migraine prescription?
When I got my wisdom teeth pulled, I got a prescription of vicodin. Soon after, I didn’t need it anymore, and still had some left over. Lately, I’ve been getting MAJOR migraine-type headaches and the only thing that seems to work is the vicodin. I’ve tried tylonol, advil, excedrin, anything! Only vicodin seems to work. I’m not addicted, but still…..I’m afraid that when I go to the doctor he’ll only give me some other placebo or “painkiller”, and I can’t just ASK for vicodin, it’ll make me sound like a drug seeker! What should I do? Thanks
