Found it on our deck not doing so well. His left eye was gone, no tail feathers, 1/2 of the feathers on a wing & patches of feathers on his head missing. Wasn’t able to fly and he let us handle him. Wondered what happed to him and how he was able to get to our deck since he didn’t seem to be in flying condition. Perhaps he survived an attack by a predator? We took it to a nearby wildlife rehab center.
