I am going through the same thing except I still drink. I just got out of a 6 1/2 year relationship. Your describing me in a way. I didn’t know that the bags and looking like I am tired came from drinking. But it seems like it started to happen when I started drinking more.
Hey Emma, If I were you I’d look into finding a local naturopath who does electronic diagnosis. I have been seeing them for 30 years and find this is the most accurate way of finding out which vitamins you need and I can tell you will be needing some. For starters get some vitamin C and multi B tabs. The C will help with healing and the B will help in case you get stressed or anxious. And if you’re not going to go to a naturopath at least take some vitamin E as well. They are great for your skin and your heart/circulation. Don’t forget to eat fresh and healthy food too, stay away from processed and sweet and junk and take out. Good luck.
Consulting an herbalist can help you out a lot with this sort of thing, since they do over-all health and prevention, as well as treat you for your current problems.
My brother was sick with a foreign disease a while back that he picked up while traveling.
He went and saw an herbalist and she looked in his eyes with a flashlight and was able to tell his deficiencies. She also did some tests and prescribed a few different herbal supplements for him to take, and I honestly don’t know if he’d be alive right now if not for her.
Keep drinking water, do get more sleep at night and maybe try an eye cream. I don’t know much about alcohol and its effects, but I do know that six months ago, I was looking pretty rough due to a lot of stress, and so I decided to just start taking better care of myself and it has helped my skin get clearer and my hair is silkier.
Learning not to stress out over stuff helps too. I went vegetarian and it really helped my immune system.
Oh and vitamin E is good for your skin and hair. Avocados might be a good thing to get plenty of.
